The Story

From Brian Henson

A MESSAGE FROM BRIAN HENSON

What happens when Henson puppeteers are unleashed? You get a new breed of intelligent nonsense that is “Puppet Up! – Uncensored” – a live, outrageous, comedy, variety show for adults only. Enjoy an unpredictable evening when six puppeteers improvise songs and sketches based on your suggestions! This is not your average night at the improv and it is definitely not for children. But all others are welcome to enjoy the uninhibited anarchy of live puppet performance as never seen before. Performing in “Puppet Up! – Uncensored” requires us to improvise freely and to let loose our emotional selves. We ask that of the audience too. So open your mind, release your inhibitions and feel free to shout out the first ridiculous thing that pops in your head. It’s probably exactly what we’re looking for. I guess for a show that is labeled “adults only”, we’re actually quite juvenile. And we’re truly excited for you to come play with us.

FRESH. FUNNY. FURRY.

For over 10 years, Puppet Up! – Uncensored has been selling out shows and thrilling critics from coast to coast and around the world. Created by award-winning director, producer, and writer Brian Henson and actor, director, and improv expert Patrick Bristow, “Puppet Up! – Uncensored” delivers a unique experience, expertly combining dynamic off-the-cuff comedy and outrageous story lines with the unmatched talent of Henson puppeteers. Irreverent, unpredictable and hilarious, the revolving cast of six world-class puppeteers and over 60 unruly puppets are set to take over the Strip as the city’s newest resident show at The Venetian. The freewheeling, high-comedy spectacular includes a wide-range of new elements, heightened technology and a reimagined set, all created specifically for Las Vegas..

It's 2 Shows in One

Delivering two-shows-in-one, audiences will view the hilarious action projected live on large screens flanking the stage while simultaneously peeking behind the curtain to witness the iconic Henson style.

WORLD CLASS PUPPETRY

The revolving cast of puppeteers, all hand selected by Brian Henson, are tasked with bringing to life more than 60 unruly puppets nightly. Coming from a wide variety of backgrounds including legendary theatres and schools such as The Groundlings, these puppeteers are not only experts in the art of comedy but have also mastered the one-of-kind technique and creativity that is a Henson trademark.
